RM electric chain hoists are manufactured under the LK chain hoist and LK low headroom hoist models. The R&M LK chain hoist is available in up to a 5 ton capacity with the 1 ton and 2 ton models being the best sellers. The hoist is available in either a single speed or dual speed option with 10 feet, 15 feet or 20 feet of lift standard. The amount of lift on the hoist is customizable up to over 90 feet. Common options include ergonomic controls and hook, lug mount, push trolley and motorized trolley suspensions. The LK electric hoist is a NEMA 3R protection classification. The product is commonly used to lift equipment along a crane or monorail system in buildings.
RM wire rope hoists are manufactured under the Spacemaster brand. The Spacemaster SX wire rope hoist is available from 1/2 ton to 80 ton capacity. The hoist is available in 208, 230, 460 or 575 voltage models. Options include single reeving or double reeving and low headroom. The hoist can accommodate long lifts up to 320 ft. R&M’s bestselling wire rope hoist is the 5 ton, 7.5 ton and 10 ton Spacemaster models. A hazardous rating configuration is available with Class I, Division 2 hazard location rating for Groups C and D and with a temperature class T3. Spacemaster crane kits are available with festooning and radio controls in either a top running or under hung design. Double girder trolleys and heavy lifting winches are available as well.
